Thanks for all the help with our Halloween party. The children had a lot of fun; they
especially loved the costume parade!
I would like to express my gratitude to each of my wonderful students and their families. I truly feel blessed to be able to teach your children. They are amazing and I am grateful to be able to be a part of their lives. Being a preschool teacher and being able to work out of my home is my dream job. Thanks for sharing your children with me.
In the month of November we will have a special visitor in our classroom, Tom the Turkey! He is afraid of Thanksgiving and has chosen our classroom as a hideout. Every morning the children have to find him and reassure him that our classroom is a safe place. He will then feel comfortable and be able to sit on the counter and watch the children throughout the rest of our class time.
In math we will begin working on simple addition and start learning how to count by
10’s.
In reading we will learn the letters J, K, and L. We will also continue talking about the parts of a book
(cover, cover page, author, and illustrator) and continue to talk about sequencing, conflict, and conflict
resolution (the problem and how it is solved).
On Thursday, Nov. 15 and Friday, Nov. 16 we
will have a feast (parents are invited to join us).
I am collecting empty rectangular Kleenex boxes for an upcoming project. If you have any that you’d
like to contribute, I would be very grateful.
Thank you for all you do!!
Ms. Rachel
